Description |
Participants
will be more effective and able to focus on their key result areas
by better managing their time. This course facilitates an
awareness of time management utilising techniques that will help
enable more effective use of time. This course is not designed to
promote a time management diary system.
Additionally,
if appropriate, the course covers customer service skills in the
context of effectively managing time whilst maintaining a positive
customer service approach. |

Objectives |
On
completion of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Evaluate their
time logs and identify their time wasters.
- Re-assess their
priorities.
- Utilise
additional techniques to plan and schedule short and long term
activities.
- Develop
individual strategies for more effective use of time.
- Cope with saying
‘no’.

Prerequisites |
Bring your time
logs and diary

Pre-work |
All intending
participants will be asked to complete a time log of at least
1 week’s duration prior to the workshop. This time log is to
be brought to the workshop for analysis.

- Room large
enough to accommodate up to 12 people in small clusters of
tables or horseshoe shape of chairs.
- Overhead
projector, flipchart, whiteboard.
