Coaching
and mentoring is probably the most effective way of helping others
to achieve optimum performance in the workplace. Coaching can take
two forms, one-on-one and one on many. Furthermore, this may be at
many levels of interaction, peer to peer in a particular skill
area, manager/supervisor coaching of subordinates and indeed
subordinate to manager/supervisor in a particular skill area.
Coaching is about skills transfer to less experienced individuals
in order to ensure their productivity and effectiveness increases.
